Another beautiful building in Samarkand! You should take your time and see the details, don't rush through the complex as many other tourists.

Simply breath taking. Wounderful achitechture and an interesting site. It was busy with other tourists but certainly not overcrowded.

It is a nice place to visit but won't impress you as much as Rejistan Square or Shahr i Zinda complex. It is worth to visit anyway.

Attractive on the outside, but stunningly beautiful on the inside. It's quite small, so can get busy. The end of the day seemed like a good time to visit.

Gur Emir Mausoleum was the last attraction to visit in Samarkand and I have no regret visiting it. Totally worth it.

And this is exactly what it is. The great Amir Timur and many of his successors are buried in this place. It is a revered place for every Uzbecan moslem.

Indeed the most beautiful cuppola of the islamic world - don't forget to go inside to admire the beauty of this mausoleum where Timour Lenk and his grandson Ulug Beg are burried (beside other family members)
