While the mosque is an important and beautiful venue in its own right, in a city full of spectacular monuments, this mosque undergoing restoration is an excellent testament to the complexities that effort involves.

Honestly! What can one say about mosques in Samarkand? ! They are magnificent. The beautiful tiles and intricate decoration is fabulous.

A rather small complex especially for the tourist fee you have to pay: 22,000 soms and not much to see inside.
