This is definitely a must place visit in Sharjah to get a better understanding of Islam. We had gone with a family and without a guide and everything is well translated into English alongside Arabic. But if you are planning to go, try getting a guide to explain the topics in depth. The museum covers different fields like Islamic art,... More

Loved this museum! They close at 8pm and we had arrived 7:15 and they still let us in and only charged for one admission because there wasn't enough time to see everything. I think that's great service and find it very considerate. Thank you!!! Lovely pieces to see as well!

This is a truly superb exhibition of Islamic culture, history and tradition. There are five galleries in total and for western visitors, everything is well presented in English. There are interactive screens too that really help bring aspects of the displays alive. You'll be pleasantly surprised here if you have no prior knowledge of Islam's impact upon the world. The... It is best visited with a guide to explain the religion in depth but the museum is well documented with translation into English of the the texts beside each exhibit.

We visited here as part of a tour of Sharjah. It was amazing to see objects from Islamic faith and culture. We wish if we had spent longer as part of the tour. You could easily spend 2 hours here. Such a friendly place and beautifully kept. The cosmic dome is a must see.

We spent about 1.5 hrs visiting the museum. Strict code is required for long dresses & pants & head needs to be covered. 2 floors . Very quiet & clean. There is even a coffee shop & clean restrooms inside. Educational & interesting . Nice parking for everyone.
