flying like Superman and felt very safe.
Highly recommend this zipline to anyone who wants to experience flying like Superman at about 100 mph for a couple minutes. I have a bit of a fear of heights - would never bungy jump or parachute - but felt safe the whole time. Staff were professional. Was the first zipline I've ever tried and don't regret it. Bit of a drive from Dubai, about 2.5 hours one way.

Fun for all - all for fun!
I had a brilliant time from start to finish. Was grouped with another 7 people to do the Sky Tour then the Sky Flight. All the staff were very helpful from start to finish. Extra shout out to Azhar - perfect sense of humour. His harmonica is a special touch to his safety gear🤣 I would totally recommend doing the Sky Tour as a build up before doing the main zipline (flighl itself. Breathtaking to say the least!!

    Jebel Jais, Family Camping
It was indeed an absolute adventure , a breath of a fresh air, as well as perfect weather in winter. the fact that we are living in the UAE, December or winter here is a must awaited season. A season for camping. We went on a weekend getaway and very suprised on the perfect location Jebel Jais mountain never fails to surprise us with its natural picturesque beauty.Nearby viewing deck areas parking is absolutely free. there were plenty of camping locations to choose from on the way up to the mountain. I suggest to travel in the morning to find a great spot and set up your tents before dark. there were security patroling around to make sure bonfire were properly lit. large bins are designated every where so there is no reason to litter. A complete package for family who love adventure on the rocky mountain. next morning we found ourselves appreciating a beautiful sunrise and a very cold and breezy weather.

Jabel jais camp site near the sledder and world’s largest zipline
This place is very nice, the cool breeze and the morning sunrise is great. I want to try the sledder and the zipline but it was temporary closed. It is good good for camping site, but during evening while in camp, there were people coming too, for camp., because its open 24/7.They are noisy,we cannot sleep anymore untill moring.. There should be time for silence.

Go for Sledder. It’s safe for individuals who are scared.
We went to Jebel Jais mountain mainly for Sledder and trekking. Both were fantastic one advise - if you want the best experience of sledder (that is high/ full speed) make sure the rider in front of you is at least 30 seconds ahead. If the rider in front of you is slow - your cart will automatically slow down and dampen your experience.

Amazing mountain views reachable by car
Jebel Jais is a place you must visit in UAE. I was staying an hour away and hired a private driver through the hotel to take me here. We stopped at the viewing deck which is only a few AED to access and has a car park. I went during Ramadan so it was quiet. At one point I had the whole viewing deck to myself, making it a unique and peaceful experience, giving time to soak up the views. There’s even a small playground with swings, a slide, and climbing frames at the top. I can imagine it being really busy and a different experience during busy season. I came in March, sunshine keeps you fairly warm, worth having a sweater to hand too.

We came out to visit the zip line as we were in the area, but couldnt as it was closed due to high winds. So we stopped at the viewing platform a couple of miles before the summit. There is a paid viewing spot 5aed each but plenty of free stop offs also. The climb is gentle but takes a good 45 mins to get up there but views are stunning, our 10 and 6 year olds just about survived the drive but any longer and they would have gone bonkers🤣

A great trip and if you are thinking of doing the zip line pre book!!

I always wanted to go camping at Jebel Jais so that I could stay there for the whole night to witness both sunset and sunrise. After a long time, finally I succeeded this time to do so. I did camping on 13th December when it was extremely cold over there with clear sky to witness the Meteor shower. It was a really very nice experience to see Meteor shower first time in my lifetime.

Jebel Jais is the highest mountain in the UAE, which always has 5 degree less temperature than the plains in UAE. It is well connected by a smooth road with scenic views and well managed by the UAE government, which ensures everyone will get a clean and hygiene area to stay out there with safety and security. You can also get food and other required stuff at food stalls which open 24x7.

This place is also having some amazing mountain trek and oasis which will definitely give you a lifetime experience.

I started my journey from Dubai and took a halt at Ras Al-Khaimah Zoo after a smooth drive of around 1Hr. I spent around 2 Hrs at Zoo then went to a restaurant for lunch in the main city. I continued my journey for Jebel Jais again which was 50 km from the restaurant and took only an hour to reach there.

Do camping, bonfire and barbecue there and don't forget to carry lots of warm clothes as the temperature drops to 4 degree and sometimes even below zero at night during winters.

What a beautiful scenic road! There are about a dozen viewpoint stops along the way as well as a private area facing Westward that would give you a great vantage point of a sunset if you can time it properly (small fee applies).

Ensure you are in L/B gear heading downhill as the decline is quite steep. If you plan to be there after sunset, bring a light jacket as it gets noticeably cold, even in summer.

The place is nice.. Staffs are friendly especially to O L I, who assisted us in our reservation (we are group of 10 and he managed to get us a nice table, thanks Oli) he's a nice guy and even their manager is accomodating, and of course, handsome ☺️☺️☺️☺️

The ambiance is cozy. You cannot go to this place without a reservation which gives exclusivity to the place. Food is great. Their breakfastis tasty! Will try their lunch or dinner menu next time ☺️

Overall, the place is highly recommended. ☺️

We were staying in Al Hamra so not too far to drive, (about an hour) . Following recommendations from our regular driver who suggested we go and see the sunset, which during December is about 5.30. Very good road to the top and the landscape reminded me of what the surface of the moon may look like, Sandy coloured rocks with little vegetation.
Went as far as zip line start and then down to a car park/viewing area. Had an expensive coffee and an equally expensive pizza before watching the sunset. Unfortunately, the second time we went with other friends the sky was cloudy, spoiling what is a lovely sunset.
Worth a visit if you have a spare afternoon and means of transportation.

The staff were excellent. They were very professional, gave you a lot of confidence and guided through the experience making you feel very calm and relaxed. The ride itself was very smooth, fast and the views were amazing. You get the option to film the ride with a helmet video camera either facing you or away from you to capture the view. Afterwards they download your video and give you a link and password to download it. There is also a restaurant there, the highest in UAE, with great views although the prices were equally high.

We spent a wonderful day out with family visiting Jebel Jais. It is about 1h drive from Ras Al Khaimah. Road is good. You always find a parking on the way up with to enjoy the views and restrooms. There is a shaded parking at the top where you can park comfortably for a small fee. The view is gorgeous from both sides of the road we found a great playground for kids. You can buy some food and refreshments.
Very enjoyable place.

So cold on this place. Perfect to do Bonfire and spend a breezy night inside our tent. Good thing that we brought kettle so we have a hot drink for the whole night. During the sunrise you will appreciate the Mountain View and love the sight of the rocky mountain of Jebel Jais.
