There is not many tourist attractions in Uzhgorod - I guess this is why so many people take photos of that statue.

Nice gesture of the inhabitants of Uzhgorod to commemorate their old and faithful lamplighter. It is not a must but if you walk on Korzo street you will see it anyhow.

It is quite strange seeing it as you walk along but definitely not one of the most outstanding statues of the world. In a nice part of town with lots of cafes and shops. Worth a quick look.

This is a nice and unusual sight to see but does not rate in the 'We simply must go and see this today darling' category. It is a nicely crafted figure of a lamplighter on a wall...that's it!!
