We liked the castle with plenty of different exhibitions, however, we got a bit lost in their logic, moreover, the descriptions in English were missing. We liked Mukacheve castle more, but still Uzhorod castle was very nice and a visit is recommended.

The castle is well preserved. However, it is small, and you have to pay twice - first, at the entrance, and then-if you want to visit a really tiny catacombs under the castle.

Relatively new fortress. The structure itself is not impressive. The inside museum is rather disappointing. The exhibition display is out of date. NO word in English

It was really cheap entrance fee, even we didn't visit the museum. But there was nice view on the city.

It is called "chateau", but I think it is a classic medieval fortress. It has very nice and tall walls and expozitions from the Ukrainian history, Czechoslovakian history and from zakarpattian nature. But there are not so many interenting things at the courtyard.

We had a weekend to spend and decided to visit in this place. They should put a bit more English language descriptions to lighten up the history and the exhibitions presented. Castle itself is great! Some renovation works hopefully soon to be made - place...More
