One of the simplest and most effective war museums imaginable. Open air, no frills and up to date in that some items commemorate the disturbances in 2014. Well worth a detour and some time spent in reflection.

As part of our river cruise itinerary we viewed the outdoor exhibits which included a modern conflict display. Unfortunately did not have enough time to visit the museum inside. In hindsight I would have preferred to skip the tour of the Natural History museum next...More

A very interesting exhibition. Various vehicles and rockets are on display. A recent exhibition is an area that tells the war in the Eastern Ukraine.

Excellent military artillery exhibition! You can find different kinds of missile carrying aircrafts from the soviet era alongside with tanks, helicopters, and other kinds of battleships even. It was very well depicted by the museum!

I have visited this museum twice and found it to be very interesting, as I am a WW2 history buff. If you don't speak /understand Russian, you should take your own interpreter as the tour is not in English. Many WW2 artifacts as well.
