Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have been to Turkish Night two years in row now and have had a wonderful experience each time. The venue is beautiful and staff very friendly. Great show and ticket well worth the price as it includes food and unlimited beer/wine/soft drinks. Will definitely return next year on our annual holiday to Marmaris!

The show itself was really good, the dancers are brilliant and very entertaining. I would suggest just going for the show alone and refusing the food though - the free wine on the tables was like vinegar and the courses were dry bread with no butter, some rice, yoghurt and meat for main and a bowl of old dry cut up fruit for dessert - my boyfriend ended up in hospital with food poisoning, wasted a whole day of our trip. We think it was the fruit as I took one bite and spat it out because it was minging, but boyfriend chowed down on it and complained of an upset stomach later, he thought it was from the shisha at the time. When you first arrive they push you towards the dancers for a photograph and then are pushy and rude when you don't want to buy the photo in the middle of the show. Then they offer you to buy "raffle" tickets - this is a complete scam, 20TL each and all it is is a wee shop with cheap jewellery and they have a list of the ticket numbers, and they give you the corresponding item to your ticket number... so pretty much you're duped into buying from their shop and in return receive an unwanted item - The wee boy in front of me got a girls necklace. They were also handing out Shishas at the start, they just bring it to your table and so we took one assuming it was included in the cost, an hour later they came back asking for 50TL for it, which is fine, but could've said the price when offering. The whole thing is made to suck money out of tourists, just be aware of that. But, as I said, the dancers are brilliant and worth watching with a few cocktails and a Shisha. The venue is also lovely.

Pros
Food was nice (chicken, chips, rice, tzatziki, a spicy dip and bread followed by grapes and melon) however no vegetarian option was given or mentioned
Bottle of red and white wine on table plus water and then free beer and soft drinks at the bar. Both wines were actually nice, was quite surprised.
Cons
90% of the show was random boring dancing. No idea what the story was, just looked like lots of people dressed up like handmaids tale spinning around. Best one was the male belly dancer who was hilarious. My partner when in Bulgaria did a Bulgarian night at Khans Tent and was expecting something like that (fire, acrobatics, jugglers etc) it was poor in relation to that.
Boring for kids, full of people smoking Shish pipes
Very aggressive staff member who yanked my 13 year old daughter off her chair that hard that it fell on the floor, pulled her by her arm to the dance floor forcing her to dance, she then escaped and when he noticed he came back and picked her up and carried her to the dance floor again and my partner had to go and bring her back. Same man then grabbed the man near us that hard his chair was rocking and his watch came off!! We complained to the English lady who works there and at the end of the show he briefly came over and did praying hands and said “very sorry”. Not good enough!! Very scary for a tiny 13 year old guy to be manhandled by a grown up man!!
Staff selling the kids light up toys would go straight to the kids, shove the toys in their faces and say “do you want one?” Then had the deal with two crying kids after we said no. Very pushy sales tactic.
End of night is a mad rush for everyone in the venue trying to get in a few minibuses.

There was a big group of us so put on 2 tables. First of all its a good idea tonput kids as much towards the middle area as possible, as thats where the show is.
Traditional turkish dancing show with a bit of modern acrobatics in it this year. Been several years and the show changes every year. Always entertaining though. Food is slightly traditional turkish food too, chicken, chips, rice, wrap and dips with a cheese pastry roll.
Some alchohol included like beer and red and white wine....but not the greatest as you can imagine. We bought a fishbowl this year but alchohol was minimum in that too haha!
Overall it is a fun night tbat lasts until about 11.30pm as a little disco at end so be aware of this with small kids.

This was our second visit to the Kervanseray. Three years ago, when we were staying at the Hotel Marbella, we went with friends.
It was a great evening if a little too long for us. The food was served quickly and was excellent. So we thought it was time to go again. This time however, as we were staying at the Club Evin we decided to give the transport a miss and walk there and back. As said before it is a long night and we thought that this way we could leave at a time to suit us and not have to wait for the coach.
Last time, the food was served as you would expect, a course at a time, one following the other in (not too) quick succession and the entertainment, with the exception of the band, starting only AFTER the desert course.
This time however, after the first (meze) course, which was great, the entertainment started and the main course did not appear for a very long time! It was a small piece of tender chicken and a few (very few) very average frozen chips with a salad garnish. Previously it had been some excellent meatballs in a rich tomato sauce.
The problem for us was that we like to eat early and as we had sat down at 20:00 the main did not arrive until over 1½ hours later. We never saw the desert as we decided to leave at 23:00!
The entertainment before had been nonstop and excellent but this time it was disjointed and very average. The female belly dance was not too bad, young and lithe with obviously augmented breasts. However, she spent as much time, if not more, wandering around collecting money, than she did dancing. During this collection time, a good 15 - 20 minutes the rest of the entertainment was put on hold.
To be honest we were totally bored and if it had not been for the three charming young ladies who shared our table, we would have left sooner.
For someone coming to this presentation for the first time it would, IMO, have been ok but for us it was very below par!
This attraction, which is after all for tourists, needs a complete overhaul!

I could write a massive reviews about why you should go however words can’t describe how good our experience was.
I can highly recommend this.
If you drink beer and wine your set all night as it’s free along with soft drinks but if your looking at anything else you will need to take some cash.
If your into photos it’s 200lira.
