Old turkish houses in Konya. Not far away, only 12km from Konya center. You have to visit this lovely village.

A very nice and well looked after village. The buildings and streets have been restored and preserved. During my visit the river wasn't flowing, which was unfortunate. The church, priests house and the old Seljuklu mosque would be the most historic buildings in the area. We could not enter inside as it was after hours, so plan ahead and go... More

If you are any where near Konya, you must make the time to visit Sille. The village is beautiful. It is like walking through history. The Government has done very well to preserve so much of the Christian History of the area.

If you have time while visiting Konya you should visit this lovely village. Take bus 64 from Aladdin Hill at the top end of Mevlana Street. Busses leave every 30 minutes and takes about 25 minutes. Get out at the last stop in the village which is at the old Byzantine Church , then you can walk back through the... More
