Of previous Orthodox use. You must remove shoes when entering and should cover heads. The beautiful domed ceiling and faint frescoes remain.

The Church--now mosque--is a clear reflection of Kar's Armenian past. It is situated in the old part of town with the bridge and castle in the immediate vicinity. I enjoyed the variety of crosses. It was amusing to see some local dogs taking the shoes...More

This was a surprise as you don't really expect so much old original stone carving to remain. Beautiful designs.

A Church converted to a Mosque which can be visited by the tourists. You should follow some regulations about dressing to visit this attraction

Unfortunately, this old armenian church has been transformed into a mosque by locals. There are many other mosques nearby, but this tiny structure should be released as a historical church.
