Well protected historical area

If you are in Silifke, you should visit here and Haiga Tekla.There is a museum in city center too. I prefer to walk here in sunny weather.

A great historical city with so few other tourists!!

Interestingly well preserved

usually sites at west of Mersin are dating from the Roman period. There and on the way it is interesting to see some ruins going back to pre-helenistic periods
