We toured the Hierapolis amphitheater and stunned by the structure of it. Firat, our tour guide skilled in explaining the history and everything about the place. Took lots of photos. Nice cold weather brought us to enjoy more during the tour.

I am a Drama teacher and this was the highlight of my Pamukkale Tour. I was simply blown away by its beauty. Must see!

It's a rather long walk on a slightly uneven incline. The amphitheatre is a lesson in history, love the architectural ruins.

We visited the amphitheatre in Heirapolis and it was breathtaking! We had seen the amphitheatre in Ephesus the day before, I must say that this one looked a lot more dramatic. You enter the site from the highest point which gives an immediate dramatic effect....More

Could not believe how perfect this theater is today . A must See attraction. Now I know why it is the number one attraction in Turkey. Just an amazing site !

The whole Hieropolis visit is a must, take your time and visit the whole area, better still with a knowledgeable guide. Height of summer not ideal time due to heat but perfect in October!

Great place to visit, some slight restoration carried out but mostly original. Lovely to see how it would have been not just how it's portrayed in the cinema. Trainers or shoes recommended not flip flops or use the shuttle service if not.

By the time yo walk up the hill to reach the Amphitheater you will be short of breath. But one you reach there you are rewarded with a breath taking view. You can not afford to miss visiting this place if you are in Pamukkale

By all means visit this site. There is a lot of walking but it is worth the trouble. The theater is large and in very good condition. Of course there are temples and sculptures but you should see this with a guide.

one of the best archaeological sites in Pamukkale. it is big and you will need time to explore. I would advise people to stay in Pamukkale for two days at least to be able to explore all the historical and archeological resources.

Best time will be spring most probably. Bodrum is 3 hrs drive. 1 day with a guide is ok. You have to read some historical info before you come. If you rent a car Dedeman hotel is out of the city Denizli. We stayed there.
