This is such a great place to visit in both the early morning and at sunset when you can sit on the seats and watch the sunset behind the stage. Beautiful Colours. Fabulous stage. It would be great if they used this place for concerts/performances...More

I love ancient history, is obsessed with it, and being able to visit all those sites during my time in Turkey was amazing! If you have a fear of heights like I do, brace yourself. After a steep walk uphill you are welcomed by this...More

It is almost like you can hear the actors doing some play here. It is really well preserved and you have access to walk around.

The theatre is really big, and its an 11 minute walk up a slope from the thermal waters. It is beautiful and also very calming to sit on the lower stairs for a while.

The kids hated this but me and my wife just sat down on the top stairs and admired the architecture and the view. Unreal and well worth the entrance price for this alone

This is very impressive and one is compelled to think what a good style of architecture was use to build this place. When I spoke to the persons standing next to me it could be heard by persons quite far off. Such is the architecture.

Best time will be spring most probably. Bodrum is 3 hrs drive. 1 day with a guide is ok. You have to read some historical info before you come. If you rent a car Dedeman hotel is out of the city Denizli. We stayed there.
