REALLY BAD, JUST SCAM AND FAKE JEWELLERY
"I went with the green tour to this shop, where people deceive you, and all the employees are very unpleasant. They only try to deceive you into buying. The stories they tell you are lies, just like everything they sell there. Never go to that place, and if you go, don't buy anything!!!"

    SCAM!!! TOURIST TRAP!!!
BEWARE TOURISTS! I went there as part of the green tour with Hereke Travel company. They pretend it is a jewelry workshop, which it actually is not. After talking 2 minutes about some stones, they lead you to their big shop. There are many sales persons ready to trap you. They create authenticity impression by telling they give certificates of authenticity, which is also a scam. I got tricked and ended up buying a few pieces of Zultanite jewelry. Only later when I looked at the certificate, I found no detail of the gemstones. After some googling I realized they sold me laboratory-made Zultanite for x5 times the price. Extremely disappointed!!!

The colour of my ring faded after less than a month. Do not recommend.
What a disappointing experience. I bought a very beautiful ring for $200, gold plated silver. They gave a 2 year guarantee and asked to contact them back in case of any issues. After less than a month, the colour started fading (see photos). I have been contacting Goreme Onix for more than a year to get the ring either replaced or to get a refund, but I have received no response.

Rip off! Don’t buy! Everything is fake! From the jewelry until the workshop. You get the same quality in standard souvenir shops for a tiny fraction of the price!

DONT BUY. It’s the perfect trap for tourist. There’s a fake workshop, they have fake stones, since you arrive they asked in Turkish to your guide how high or low they can sell you.

There’s a Latin seller from Peru, called Gita. She’s the boss of the sales team. She’s a liar, aggressive and abusive seller.

She started giving us a price and when she realised we were going to buy jewellery she started in rising prices and other sales team member were giving lower cost for other tourist.

SCAM SCAM SCAM !!
Tourists , please don’t even think about visiting this place and even more not buying anything, they are a perfect example of scammers between the tour guide people and the owner of this place. Their prices are 4 to 5 times more expensive than the same exact item somewhere else for the very cheapest item on the market . They know you’re a perfect victim .They introduce you to salespeople who speak your language then they screw you up ! They have no moral, no conscience whatsoever. ! I trusted you and you destroyed my first time and last one ever vacation in Turkey, SHAME ON YOU and on the Cappadocia tourism to let someone like you taking advantage of your tourists which are the biggest income to very nice people and place .SHAME ON YOU for thousands time .

Beware, we got scammed. They sell fake jewelries. They have a pretend room where it looks like they are creating these jewelries. But they are just props.

Our tour guide collaborated with the company to advertise this as natural zultanite, which will increase in value over diamonds within a decade. These are all false information. Their zultanite are lab made, the certificates does not provide any detailed information, but if you do a research on what the acronym mean, they are not natural stones.

The prices are also 2-4 times what you see on stores outside. Do your own research before going to Turkey as scammers are everywhere. Beware and avoid at all cost.

I went there with a tour I had taken and the tour guid told us that we are going to a place where it’s all about stones .. They started telling us about few stones and then they told us about a stone named zultanite!! The way they explained about the actual natural zultanite and the lab made one blew my mind🤯 like the actual one doesn’t change in color which is very delightful greenish in color and the lab made one changes up to 5 colors!! Honestly I chose the lab made one because I felt in love with it and it’s uniqueness❤️ and I don’t want to get started with salespeople over there .. like omg ☺️ the way they were patient and sweet with me was so amazing that I just wanted to stay there all day long lol 🤗
