Capoccia is a beautiful place where you always come back, not only to cross this beautiful bridge, but cross into the depths of the soul and its underground cities .

This is a stunning example of the cave houses and really beautiful to walk around. It can be very hot so be prepared.

You can feel decadence and abandon in Avanos, you can sense it used to be a stunningly beautiful settlement. Now only ruins remain. Still worth a visit, but not compelling enough to call for a long stay.

In the small town of Avanos there is a proliferation of ceramic art centers. Here ceramic artistry is at the 'cottage-industry' level and provides a good opportunity to buy gifts and souvenir artefacts.
