Ali will be happy to educate you on the finer points of carpets, their backstories, and show you how they change color by moving them around. What fascinated me were the smaller pieces made of 400 knots per inch made into true art, even framed. Remarkably beautiful. The silk on silk pieces, while breathtakingly expensive, were so lovely to the... More

I visited this Sultan Carpet in March and had and incredibly enjoyable experience. Ali gave me a great education in carpets, and showed me so many beautiful works of art that they have in their store. Although I did not buy a carpet, this is where I would want to go once I am ready to make an investment. People... More

We were welcomed in the store by Ali, who showed us a wide selection of dowry carpets. He was very informative, and we spent a lot of time looking at the carpets and listening to him over a cup of tea, with no obligation to buy. I couldn't resist however and bought two lovely small kilim dowry rugs, which I... More

The store is very neat, and Ali's (there are 2 of them), Sems were very professional and helpful throughout my carpet shopping. They were showing me what I was exactly looking for, and collaborative during the process. I was vey satisfied... More

We based our visit to Sultan's Carpet shop on the several great reviews from past customers. The reviews led us to the right shop. Both Ali and Semsettin were professional, knowledgeable, and patient with us, as we were unsure of which carpet we wanted as there were so many to choose from. The Turkish hospitality is ever present with them.... More

This store is absolutely amazing, for the carpets available there which are of very high quality, but especially for Ali's great knowledge about everything he has in store to show you. Even if you are not planning to buy anything, the store is worth the stop to hear about the story behind the carpets and get a very detailed explanation... More
