Great way to experience Rose & Red Valley

We asked our hotel receptionist to book a 2 hour ride for us. The horses were of a good temperament and easy going, but the ride itself was a bit boring. We had a beginner in our group of 4 and she wanted someone to walk her along. Top points to the poor guides that accommodated her request and walked... More

I booked the 2 hours tour, because I think it is a nice way to experience the beautiful landscape. I was not disappointed. The tour was alone with the guide, in February 2015. My horse "Mavy", a black and white-coloured mare, was a nice horse. :-) I am an experienced rider and can tell, that the horse was easy to... More

I was the only one in my party who wanted to do this, so I thought that maybe when I just showed up on my own, that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me. They did though, and it was just me and the guide for a two hour ride. My guide didn't speak English but he was very professional... More

This is our second trip to Cappadocia and our second horse riding trip (going to Avanos previously). It was reasonably priced for a 2 hour trip @ 90 lira per persona and free pickup. The horses were in pretty good condition mine was a sweetie, though distracted and wanting to eat all the time, though easily steered back on course.... More

It could have been a lovely outing, but the guide was annoying, two hours was OK, but the last 30 min was simply boring - riding on a dusty local road, with piles of garbage being the main attraction

Ride started badly when my horse wouldn't leave the corral. Guide managed to finally get him to move out. We rode just a few minutes when my 26 year old daughter's horse decided to go back to the corral. The guide rode back and brought the horse back on the trail. Just a minute or two after returning, the horse... More

I didn't ride the horses, but passed this on the way to the Goreme Open Air Museum. Pretty horses against a lovely backdrop!! Stop to take a few photos!

We ended up being the last ride of the day, so it was a little rushed in order to get back before dark. It was very nice seeing the area on horseback. I would have liked a longer ride, but frankly I do not think my thighs or rear could have accomodated it. Our guide spoke English but did not... More

Totally amazing views of Cappadocia on horseback. My family did a 2 hour ride thru Red and Rose valleys and were blown away by the views and scenery. The guide was not overly friendly or helpful, and was a little too bored. The horses should have been better taken care of, my daughters horse was limping often and stumbling. They... More

We did a two hour horse ride in the Rose Valley which was a different way to view the fantastic scenery. Our horseman guide was from Afghanistan and very friendly and helpful. The horses are well cared for and sure footed (thank goodness)!
