Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

We wanted to visit the museum on the 2nd day of Ramadan Feast, but we came across a sloppy article stating that it was closed until the end of the Eid. Yes, Eid is everyone's holiday, but why would such an important museum be closed? Couldn't it be possible to arrange rotational shifts for employees without full capacity? This situation is really sad and harmful to Bursa's tourism. I hope an arrangement will be made as soon as possible.

It’s a good place to understand the history of Bursa and the begging of Ottomans. The entrance
Is 5 tl which is fair. There are temporarly exhibitions as photos if Ara Guler.
The upstairs is quite big and we didn’t understand what was for. The parking area is not very big but still we could find a place. There is a gift shop.

This amazing art work is a must see. Eleven artists have collaborated to produce a 3D installation of the conquest of Bursa in a 360 degree circular loop. The art work is beautiful and detailed with over 100,000 figures of people and animals. Everywhere you look there is something to be seen and when you look again, you will see details you missed the first time around. The massive dome has a radius of 42 metres.
Entry fee is 5 TL and over 65's are free. I made a quick purchase in the gift shop where the prices are excellent. There were other items on display, costumes and accessories. All in all, I would highly recommend this attraction to visit.

Although it is not officially opened, you can visit this new museum at the beginning of the old town. It gives a nice information about the conquest of the city by the Ottoman forces from the Byzantine empire. The dome is huge..42 metres large,11 metres larger than Saint Sophia which was the biggest dome of Turkey.. But of course we have to consider that it is 1600 years newer.. Also its height is much lower.. Although it may appeal to foreigners, guided tour was in Turkish and all the written explanations as well. It is free for the moment, and even after the official opening Wednesdays it will be free.
