Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You need to be aware that the ticket for the Amphitheatre includes the museum which is closed indefinitely for improvement.
So €17 ,which is a combined entrance fee for both is very poor value.access within the Amphitheatre is limited, you won’t get a view up and down the coast.

I paid for the amphitheatre with the ticket that included the museum. We went on Monday the museum was not open the ticket office should have told us the museum was shut and we would t have paid £17 per person for 10 mins in the amphitheater .

Small but lots of history and well organised faculty. Great to see the history and so close to modern luxury hotels. Prices for the shop are good downside but then which museum isn’t.

This place was small but it was great to see the artifacts and statues of lost buildings around Side. It was great to learn about the history and learn more about the amphitheatre that wasn't present upon our visit over there. It was a great place, but I would have liked to see more exhibits.

The staff let it down though. When getting our tickets, the ticket agent was more bothered about laughing and joking with security while on their phone than to listen to us. We asked for 3 tickets, but was only charged for 2 and given 2 tickets. We had to go back and get a third. Then the gift shop, we got 3 drinks and 1 book souvenir which should have cost us 660 lira, but the staff charged us 750 lira which we only realised about the over charge once we got back to the hotel.

It's a good experience but double check you're being charged correctly.

Well worth a stop! It was much bigger than expected and had some lovely rooms with artefacts. I believe the museum is in the old Roman baths!

Very nice archeological site. Outside exposition is with tombs, pillars and inside the hall you can see heads, coins and lot of stuff. Close to the museum is amphitheater with excellent view.

Near the museum, the side road once you walk through the arch down to the beach boulivard and ullared textil clothes shop. Whilst snorkelling for turtles an angel shark swam under us at 6 meters deep. I am certain that it was atleast 120cm long. This was a rare sighting, and a great snorkelling experience.

Went on a rainy day for something to do and had my eyes opened to the fascinating history of the area. Entry was equivalent to just over two pounds sterling. So cheap! Toilet facilities excellent and clean. Staff friendly. Ancient history just everywhere!

From the outside, the museum doesn’t look very big but as we explored further, we kept finding more rooms/areas so it is definitely good value for money. Some items are displayed outside and others are in the old bath-house. The collection inside is well lit and the place had a very relaxed feel.
