One of the most breathtakingly beautiful places on earth, the Thousand Islands Region is an international tourism destination located along the eastern shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. It is home to many quaint villages and sits just along the border between the United States and Canada. This region was named after the 1,793 islands that are nestled within this scenic international waterway. With recent advances in cold hardy grape production, the Thousand Islands is quickly becoming one of New York State’s fastest growing wine regions. The Thousand Islands Winery was the first winery in the region and boasts not only multiple acres of vineyards, but also breathtaking scenery, a fun and unique tasting room atmosphere, and of course award winning wines!

We loved one of their wines, so we decided see what else yhey had that was good. It's relatively small, but it was clean and we got 10 tastings for $5.00. They also had some beer and liquor for tastings as well for $1.00 each. Needless to day, we found more wines we liked and left with a case of... More

Nothing too fancy as wineries go but the offerings were very good. So good, that we bought a bottle of each wine we tried! Delicious Pinot Grigio

Went to there wine tasting and spent at least $200.00 more for wine and there jams which was very good and they charged me for my wine tasting but went to another local winery and spent $40.00 and the wine tasting fee was free

We spent a few days in the area and went to the Thousand Islands Winery twice!! Tasty wine, friendly people and laid back atmosphere. And they have these great bottles that are half the size of a regular bottle. Perfect for picnics etc... Wish I picked up more. Will definitely be back when in the area.

We stopped in to sample some local wines and were not disappointed. We really enjoyed several types of their wines. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We thought the prices were reasonable and liked that many of the wines came in a variety of sizes so we could pick up some gifts for those back home.

Because this brewery was started and is now owned and operated by a vet I feel a special affinity to it. This brewery has my absolute favorite wines, however, I do happen to have a bit of a Sweetside to me and enjoy those Rieslings. They have dry and sweet. I won't pretend to be an expert on their dryer... More

We love it here. It's a great property and location. Well maintained, and they have wonderful wine too, especially the slushies! We love staying on the property while visiting family and going back and forth between Clayton and Abay. Please consider updating your AC units, they take awhile to cool down the place especially in this very hot summer. Hope... More

I taste tested 10 wines and absolutely loved them all. It was very difficult to chose just a few to purchase. The store is a nice size and has many gifts and food items as well as a huge variety of wine. They also offer wine slushies. A Thousand Island's must see!
