Buy the combo ticket for Boldt castle and the yacht house. You have to take a boat to Boldt castle, then another short boat ride back and forth from Boldt Castle to the yacht house. Boldt castle will be about 2 hours and the yacht house about 30 minutes. Time does not include boat time.

We took an hour or so to visit the Yacht House while at Boldt Castle. It requires a ferry ride over and back. Allow about an hour. The yachts were beautiful - very nice museum. A caretaker lived in the Yacht House. I would have been completely ecstatic to live here! It is beautiful! It is well worth the few... More

A great side trip directly from Boldt Castle. You can buy a ticket for just Boldt Castle or a combined ticket for Boldt Castle and the Boathouse. Might as well do both - not much of a price difference. The boats housed here are historic and gorgeous wood. There is a docent there who is very knowledgeable on all things... More

Must check out the Boldt Yacht house when you tour the Castle. If you like Boats, you will enjoy. Say hi to Miss Kathy, she knows alot about the boats.

You get a nice boat ride over to this amazing building full of neat old boats. If this is your thing, you will dig it. For me, I was glad the shuttle ran every 30 minutes.

Now this is how you should store your boat!! There's a nice display of small boats and motors, etc. Take the time to look at the caretakers house, attached to the boat house.

Another portion of Boldt Castle that you take the Shuttle to. Beautiful antique boats! The volunteers are very knowledgeable with answering questions and the rest of the staff was very nice. Neat to see the upstairs where the caretaker lived. Kinda pricey for what you see but if you buy the Boldt Castle package it's worth it

For those interested in old yachts, this is a must see. You get to see 2 of Mr. Boldt's yachts plus several others on loan.
