Boldt Castle is amazing and is a must see if you're in the area! Even if you're not in the area it should be on your list of things to see! We went on Clayton Island Tours who were absolutely great in their own right...More

Boldt Castle was amazing to walk around! We really enjoyed ourselves! Great places to take photos! I would recommend this to anyone that will be in the area. We didn’t do the yacht house, but I’m sure that’s neat as well :)

This castle is enormous and amazing to see. The work that has been done to restore this is of great craftsmanship. The boat ride there and the view from the boat is well worth the trip. Don’t miss this attraction, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place. As the owner of a construction company I was more curious about the unfinished parts to see the techniques they used.

We arrived about 5:30 p.m., our last stop on the boat tour we selected. We had to catch the last boat back to Alexandria Bay at 7:30, and we wished we had had more time. The house is beautifully done, and the grounds are fabulous....More

My wife had talked up Boldt Castle for several years. Living up to the picture she had painted was tough, but it was every bit as awe inspiring as she had said. The castle itself was worth the trip. The story and history made it...More

I highly recommend visiting this. Besides the whole romantic story associated with the building of this magnificient structure . Just the shear human effort is amazing. The white marble statues and fountain are such a great touch to the beautiful garden! The peek into the...More

We took our 3,8,9 yr old on our way to Rochester. Totally worth the stop. We didn’t pay to go to the Yacht house but probably would have if we had more time. I wish they would put more signs below the several photographs. It’s...More
