I really didn’t enjoy this part of the city sightseeing tour. The baby elephant, as with the other larger elephants, were chained to the ground with very little to no room for movement. It was horrible. We didn’t ride the elephants. The guards had what...More

We were out exploring the area today when we stumbled upon this elephant camp. “Camp” being the key word here, this is no safe haven for elephants. I had read many terrible things about how these poor gentle creatures are treated in Thailand, but I...More

Elephant Camp was exciting and you not only get to see and touch the elephants but even feed them! We could see little kids feeling so happy feeding the elephants. We stayed there for a few minutes.

Only done this place because it was part of a package to do with Tiger Kingdom. There was a elephant tied up outside and was continuously moving backwards and forwards in a small pen which seemed very stressed. When we were called up to board...More

We came here on a city tour, horrible conditions and treatment of animals. First they want you to pay for a picture with a baby elephant tied to a tree, obviously in distress trying to move around. As we walk through to sit down as...More

As mentioned in the title, it was fun to ride an elephant. No signs at all of animal abuse. We saw where the elephants living quarters are and it looks alright. There is one note however: they also keep monkeys for a monkey show. These...More
