Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I guess this shopping mall used to be a nice place to go, but now everything is closing down, probably due to the opening of the Jungceylon Shopping Center. So, you may as well skip it.

Banana Walk is very close to Jungceylon Shopping Centre, not far from the notorious Bangla Road.great night shopping after a big meal at Jungceylon as it was walking distance and the weather very comfortable. The prices were very competitive, don't be rushed as the more you look around and later in the evening it gets the prices are good value. Bought some quality T shirts with the muthi boxers on the front, very nice and only BHT350..(approx. AUD $12.00)>Shopped quite a lot and grabbed a taxi back to the hotel,BHT200.00($8.00).Great evening

Most of the shops at the mall are empty or have vacated. Only a couple of restaurant and spa. 1 operating retail outlet standing. Would not recommend this mall if you are looking for some shopping.

The Banana walk is not a shopping mall.. it just has a spa as you enter, a Harley Davidson shop and couple of shops selling t-shirts etc. There are a couple of restaurants too. Not a shopping mall and definitely not worth the walk unless you in the area

Came here since this was listed as one of the 'Top 5' best places to shop in Phuket. The place was nearly deserted, had a few empty restaurants and a few shops still in business. This was literally a complete waste of time.

Banana Walk shopping complex is located at a walking distance from Baan Laimai Beach Resort in Patong where we were staying during our vacation in Phuket. This place is not big like the popular Jungceylon Mall and has some big restaurants like Starbucks, Roma Italian restaurant, The Coffee Club etc.

The banana walk is a large outdoor mall and waste of beach front real estate. They did have a fairly affordable liquor store tucked back here on the ground floor but unless you are searching for mini golf I would skip this place.

Banana walk has not much shops or entertainment, it's very sad because the location of the mall is very strategic. There's a 18 holes mini golf course in the rooftop for 500 baht pax. Few bars and restaurants. The pimnara spa there offers good services.
