- YorkieHastings, New Zealand4 contributionsFantastic Muay Thai Fight NightGoing to a Muay Thai fight was on it to do list, we were not disappointed. The night was fantastic. 8 fights in total, very professionally organised. The stadium was very clean. We booked ring side seats, which were only slightly more than normal admission but it was totally worth it for the close-up experience, comfy seats, free t-shirt and drinks service. It is a must in any trip to Phuket.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 October 2023
- helenmr7331 contributionsMuay Thai magic 🙏🏻🇨🇷🥊First ever Muay Thai experience and it was great! Brilliant pick up and drop off service, a free t-shirt, ringside seats next to one of the referees, a packed stadium, waitress service, and 7 matches, including a belt fight. Fascinating, exciting and well worth the money.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 November 2023
- NeeGeeCardiff, United Kingdom109 contributionsDisappointedThey oversold the tickets so we had no chance of a seat. The place was rammed and people were queuing to go in even with pre-booked tickets. We'd travelled for half an hour to watch and the fights were good but we could barely see what was going on. Arrive hours before you need to!Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 1 January 2024

- Lucy JRhondda Cynon Taf, United Kingdom42 contributionsAmazing experience! We attending the Muay Thai last night and wow, what an experience! I booked through Whatsapp. They booked us 2 tickets straight away and offered us hotel pick up and drop off. Great communication! Our driver was prompt and very friendly! We opted for ring side seats and were welcomed with a free t shirt each. Refreshments were reasonably priced - 100 baht for a beer! Staff were friendly inside and were happy to take drink orders to your seats which was nice as it meant you didn’t miss anything. The Muay Thai itself was amazing. We were both very impressed and enjoyed the variety of fights. All fighters were very respectful! We can’t wait to see Muay Thai again! If you’re in the Patong area, this is definitely a must see and do!Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 February 2024

- Ben&Jen64 contributionsWhen in Rome!A must-do when visiting Thailand! Great arena and well-ventilated; we booked the tickets the day before via WhatsApp and the process was flawless! We paid for VIP seats as it was only a little bit extra and it was well worth it! Great parking options too.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 March 2024

- Narine V4 contributionsGreat ExperienceOne of the best experiences I’ve had so far. I was so happy to finally see a Muay Thai fight in its origin country. The place was great, good ventilation, cold beers, popcorn, french fries were served right at your seat. Moreover, it was a place to charge your phone. Also, a t-shirt was given to anyone at the entrance. The only thing I’d like to recommend is showing the fighters’ info on the screen in English too. I couldn’t understand any word and was guessing which country this fighter is from. Only could hear Thailand 😀🥊Visited March 2024Travelled soloWritten 25 March 2024

The ticket price is very high for 8 fights, they are picked smartly so that the local bookies can get as much money from bets as possible (1000 baht minimum bet). They also collude so i would recommend just betting snall between your friends as its way more fun.
The drinks prices on top of the ticket fee are stupidly high, and the toilets are not well maintained. It does feel like being part of a weekly pay day crowd whilst attending.
Some of the fights however were really good and including many nationalities was really interesting. Its definitely worth a visit but don’t fall for the “ringside” seating premium as the view is no better and you still get drinks delivered from the stands

Atmospheric! It seems that the stadium is more for entertainment, tourist events, but the fights we watched were impressive. My wife would never have thought that she would like this, but she was wrong. I went to introduce my child to a tougher stage, because it was time for sparring training, and in the end the whole family heartily cheered for the fighters!
We got there ourselves by taxi, the price was the same as the agents. Very stuffy, but worth it. More expensive ringside seats are not the best option. We bought them in vain. We regretted it not because of the price, the difference is 300 baht, but because it was very cramped and stuffy. The place behind the fence is not much further, but it is spacious, everything is visible and fresh. At the entrance they sell cold coconuts for 50 baht, and there is a bar with drinks. There is very little choice in the equipment store. The brothers could not choose shorts from among the high-quality shorts for the child; there was only one for the entire store.

What a great night out!
I can’t believe after travelling to Patong so many times that I had not given this experience a try.
Seeing the advertising trucks repeatedly up and down the street our family was addicted to saying ‘Monday night Monday night’!
My 14 year old was keen to give this a try this trip and we were annoyed we did it towards the end of our trip as we would have liked to have gone a second time!
Very entertaining, once I got over the fairly young people in the first fights of the evening. Each fight of the evening seemed to get better with more experienced fighters.
Food and drinks are easy to buy and reasonably priced.
With a start time of 9pm, we were exhausted by midnight and the last fight was only just starting which was disappointing as it looked so good but we just couldn’t stay awake.
Tuk tuks are in big supply when you leave the stadium so you don’t need to worry about how to get home!

I'm not usually a fan of watching fights, but I had a blast! It was an extremely well organised event from the time you reach out to enquire about tickets to the end of the evening. They were required to give us a Covid test before we entered and this was handled very quickly and efficiently. I communicated with them via Whatsapp and they were polite, friendly and very helpful. The wait staff were really on the ball and replenished our drinks quickly and with zero fuss. The fights were great and the figthers were very respectful to each other, which was so lovely to see. The atmosphere was incredible! Everyone was there to have a good time and it showed, without being rowdy or overly boisterous. All in all an extremely fun evening and a must do if you're visiting Phuket!

Paid 1,800 Baht per person for front row seats (free t shirt included!) and it was fantastic. As a one off experience whilst on our travels it was great value for money. Great atmosphere and entertainment and the pick up/drop off service to and from the hotel was excellent.

Had a great night at Patong Boxing Stadium. Very well organised. I what’s app the number with what I wanted and within 10 mins I had a reply with our seat numbers and what we need to pay on the night. We were front row and as a family was a little worried maybe too close to the action but it was amazing!!! My 2 children loved it too. Thought we wouldn’t stay till the end but it was so much fun time quickly passed. Book direct for great service. Highly recommend seeing while in Patong!

Is there a shop selling equipment at the stadium
Written 20 November 2019
if you talking about soveuneirs - yes there is...but i didnt see any equipment - maybe because i wasnt looking. Bt the Thai people are so helpful - they will send you to the correct place if you tell them want you looking for. Hope it helps

We plan on going to a fight after shopping around Patong, are we allowed to bring our shopping bags inside?
Written 17 June 2019
We carried bags with water in them, and weren't even questioned. I'm sure you will be fine, however, I think your shopping will beome a nuisance for you though, especially after the match. There is a flight of stairs to climb up/down as well. Might be a bit difficult with your shopping.

I do believe that a lot of the gyms on Phuket do. I know that Tiger Muay Thai does. Just search the web and you should be able to find some information.
