It's great tradition market, cheap seafood, you can make a deal with seller by using calculator, it much more easy,bring it to upstairs and they will cook for you with traditional Thai's style or your style.

Its not huge but has a great variety of freash fruit and vegies as well as meat, chicken and seafood. If you love Lobster its the freshest place to get it other than travel to the islands.

Yes, they have local spices,but I'm not sure which prices are, but they are certainly not expensive.

As in all markets all over the world, it opens early in the morning and by late morning, most of the 'market' stall will be closed however the fresh seafood, fruits and some food stall will still be open until late evening... More
