The bamboo bridge is about 10 km out of the city proper but any visitor should go there. Try to arrive early and then walk the entire length. Great experience.

The bridge sits atop a paddy field and leads to the Sutongpe Temple. There was on-site filming going on while we visited, hence we were unable to walk the length of the bridge. The scenic location is a living postcard view, definitely a photoworthy stopover.

The walk along the wooden bridge was a long journey. This l am told, was built by the monks. When the area is in flood, it serves as a link from the edge of the riverbed to the temple which is situated on top of...More

I once got excited about being on the Golden Gate Bridge - this knocks the socks off you a thousand time fold. A simple bamboo woven bridge that carries you over rice fields in the most natural Thai setting ever. Nothing superficial about this though...More

It is just a bridge which the local Monks use for the morning alms giving ceremony, and as a link between villages. It is actually a steel structure with a wooden cladding. If you are in the area it is worth taking a look... More
