Beautiful locations with locals in their traditional dress. Some can be touristy you just have to do a bit of research.

Very disappointed at the commercialism. The village was deserted as the people work. The shan village was just a series of shops all selling the same over priced tea.Nothing special to see or buy,a waste of time go to pai.

It was a fair drive to get there, the village we visited were built to attract the tourist so it's not authentic. The entire village was nothing but souvenir shops, however you can see the villagers (ladies) doing weaving which was interesting.
