Beautiful locations with locals in their traditional dress. Some can be touristy you just have to do a bit of research.

Very disappointed at the commercialism. The village was deserted as the people work. The shan village was just a series of shops all selling the same over priced tea.Nothing special to see or buy,a waste of time go to pai.

WE hire Rose Tours and they did an excellent job explaining the different customs of each village, The people here seemed more authentic than north of Chiang Rai.
