The compound comprises three brick buildings on the same laterite base. All facing the East, each pagoda has a sandstone lintel with designs. A laterite wall surround the compound and there is a moat just beyond it which covers 2 sides of the structure.

Fully recommend this to the genuine history buff. The tourist history buff will feel let down due to the physical size of the ruins. I found it very easy to locate Fully recommend to any person who has a love for history

I had Ankor Wat on my bucket list but was put off by the Cambodian border palava. This gem is it's sister and is orientated to face it. Impressive structures and plenty to see in a day vist

From Kong Kaen this was a nice morning trip. The temple is small but well preserved. We did not spend a lot of time there but it was a good visit if you have time.

There is nothing comparing Phimai Historical Park. I'd drown approx 85km for see it, but there is only one building, 10 minutes walk around and that's all. Don't waste your time.

Not that much to see; nothing nearby. Doesn't begin to compare to the many larger temples in the region. Hard to justify the long drive to get to this one.

It's not very easy to find it. But once your here it's very nice and impressive. Kids and adults loved it. Give it a go if your around KK.

Well worth a visit. A bit of a treck to get there but worth it to have a look around. You can stay in Khon Kean, the city itself or one of the surrounding towns. Plenty of guesthouse to stay in. I went to see...More
