The temple is a beautiful applied Khmer art. It is a forest temple in the midst. The hug of the mountain has a shady atmosphere. Quiet, suitable for introspection and peace of mind. Originally, this temple had a cave as a chapel. but has now been Restored to be beautiful and magnificent by building a sandstone chapel with delicate carvings around the chapel covering the cave When walking into the Ubosot, you will reach the entrance to the cave, which has beautiful natural stalagmites and stalactites with a chimney inside the cave to let the light shine down. There are many Buddha images. including the Buddha's relics brought from the Union of Myanmar to be enshrined for tourists worship There is a Buddha image in meditation posture. enshrined as the president Near the ubosot there is also a large Buddha image to make. Buddhists also worshiped.

Rather average temple, but if you have some free time or have an all day transport rental, go have a look!

Upon arrival, as we came down from our tour bus, we were attracted by the large stone Buddha Statue that sit by the side of the open space carpark.
As we walked further, a timber shed flanked by some wooden Buddha statues exude to us a feeling of tranquility and peace.

Entry into the temple building is free. Inside the temple, behind the façade is the first altar. From here, as we moved on down the stairs, are 2 huge nicely lit caves complete with stalagmites and stalactites accompanied by many statues of Buddha. The lighting is warm and cozy and conjure up a serene ambience inside the caves.

This temple in the cave is clean, well organized with zones for visitors to explore around , making offerings and supplications with lighting candles , self meditating and praying . It has good clean toilet facilities surrounded by plenty of statues in the foreground. It is peaceful and quiet, great escape too to take a rest under the Pagoda from the sunny weather .

Whether you are religious or not, making a visit here is a spiritual and worthwhile experience. Do not miss it in Kanchanaburi !!!!

This temple caught me off guard. The exterior is beautifully crafted out of concrete with amazing details. Then you go inside and it’s sitting inside a dramatic cave. Incredible space!

I really loved this temple, as I pleasantly surprised because it's a cave. Worth a quick visit, if 1. you like temples and 2. have nothing else to do or 3. your on your way to visit something else. Time spent there would be minimal, but I think well worth the visit
