As a family of 4, we chose to do a 3 day tour from bangkok with joe, taking in the train market, floating market, hellfire pass, war cemetary, bridge over the kwai and kayaking under it, erawan waterfalls, elephant bathing, Ayutthaya and a few little extras that we did not expect. This tour included all food/drink which was delicious at... More

Don't even hesitate on this tour! Book it now! I promise you, you will love it! I did the tour with Joe. I did the erawan waterfalls, elephant bathing, bamboo waterfalls and feeding a widdle baby elephant that was 11 mos old. I did the tour with my mom and we both loved it! If you are staying at the... This trip is about a 1 hour drive west of Bangkok. This city, Kanchanaburi, is a famous mining deposit for the rich blue sapphire from Thailand, and also the destination to see the famous "Bridge over the River Kwai" This is a great little "out and back" day trip.... and well worth your time while in Thailand.

Highly recommened for families with kids ( ours are11&12) as Joe gets quickly super contact with them. Myself and two friends had a great time touring the Kanchanaburi Province with Joe. Joe was very responsive via email and helped us put together a custom tour. We visited the bridge over River Kwai, Hellfire Pass, fed and rode elephants and best of all, got to play with one month old baby tigers and lions. It was an unforgettable... More

Joe's responses to my emails were prompt and informative. We booked a one day tour covering the Death Railway, Prasat Mueang Sing, Bridge over River Kwai, war cemetry with the final stop at Maeklong. Joe also gave us good tips on what to do in Maeklong and Bangkok. His service is reliable and I would highly recommend him.

What an amazing day we had with Joe! I reached out to him from the states and told him what we might be interested in doing and he was able to schedule all of it, zip lining, kayaking and an elephant experience. He was prompt, attentive and funny. We had an absolute blast spending the day with he and a... More

Kanchanburi is a reasonably priced city for a touristy town. Accommodation and restaurants and the like are good value. The bus station is 4-5 kms from the hotel/guesthouse area. Transport by pick-up / taxi , if you bags, is readily available. 50 baht per person is ok. The more people in the pick-up the less it SHOULD be. Transport around... More
