This museum lays out a clear narrative of the building of the Thai-Burma railway. The displays are well curated and very well explained. You can spend about an hour here and it’s right next to the cemetery. Very informative.

I gained a much fuller understanding of the whole history surrounding the bridge construction. Visit the bridge itself after the museum. The JEATH museum close to the bridge is also interesting, if more eclectic.
