Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came to this Wat Khao Sanam Chai as we spotted this place high up on the hill from our hotel even is quite a distance.
You need to hike up to the Wat by foot, there is no second choice however is not really that difficult for normal person. The hike is probably 15 minutes.
The top hill has a nice pagoda and few giant flags. Is so windy up there. Once you are there you will be able to get almost 360 deg full view of Hua Hin district. Which is very nice view and yes you can see the blue ocean which i think is Gulf of Thailand if no wrong.
There is no disturbance from wild life like monkeys as far as i been there. Very quiet and nice scenery, worth a visit.

I have been to this place of prayer and evening are left alive after the explosion of a bomb. For me, then, it was a place of great significance.

Yes, it's a bit of a uphill climb, espacially because I came with a bicycle. Still: it's one of the best vies in Hua Hin, quite and peaceful.
Totally worth the climb.

What a great break this was from the action of Hua Hin town/city life. Its entrance is directly connected to the main roadway (Highway 4) running North-South slightly west of Hua Hin's more popular main road going through town. So, getting there was easy. From a distance you may see very large flags on a hilltop - that's the one. There's no sign in English that I saw indicating the entrance but from the archway in Thai, on the roadside, we guessed and were correct.
We were each on our own motorbike and could ride almost to the top. If you are 2 on one bike you might make it :-) some sections are a bit steep. Just parked off to the side once close and another 100m or so walk uphill through pleasant, thin forestry.
No one else was up there, at about 13-14:00. Quiet, cool and the views in each direction were fantastic. Will definitely go again once back in HH. Keep in mind there's nothing up there save the pagoda structures, large flags and view, but that's the point. A very good chill out.

It's not the Wat but the view from this location which is spectacular. The temple sits on a high ridge less than a mile south of intersecton soi 112. The entrance, a very steep incline is partially hidden between plant shops/nurseries on the beach side along the main road. Drive up, park and hike (10 min) to the Pagoda and Buddha foot print. The walk way is paved and easy. Below you see the entire coast line of Hua Hin and the hills of the country side. Very peacefull, no tourists!
