Very beautiful temple to visit. Going up the grand staircase, you will discover a magical place and a breathtaking view of the city and the beach of Hua Hin. Attention to the monkeys who are the masters of the places and not always sympathetic ...

We visited this Hill during our bicycle tour 'Colors of hua hin'. Steep Climb to the top. Nice temple with beautiful views. After visiting the temple go right to the monkeys and then go down to the Chinese part. Very Nice view and enjoy only sound of the sea.

Having seen the incredible statue of the golden Budhha at the foot of Chopsticks hill you then climb all the very many stairs up to the temple on top which is not as grand as we know temples in Thailand. You can also spend a few minutes looking at the monkeys inhabiting the place, but please don`t attempt to play... More

This temple has an ideal location, with good views of the surrounding areas, however the temple and buildings are in total disrepair. There is rubbish scattered everywhere and it seems that no one shows any respect at all for this place. The buildings are all run down and and in a terrible state making the whole place look rather neglected... More

This is so worth doing, we walked up from the Main Street, and must admit it was worth it, you walk past all the fish sea food restaurants up a pretty steep hill, then you start to see the monkeys thousands of them from tiny babies to some pretty mean buggers, there's a few shops selling your normal Thai stuff... On this mountain you'll have great views over the city and sea. There's a temple and loads of monkeys so if you want to get closer to the make sure to bring food. However be aware they are greedy.

It's a free activity and if your not feeling athletic in the heat a tuktuk will take you just 128 steps from the temple. (Other wise a steep climb and over 300 steps) to the temple. The views are reasonably good however before the beach skyline is a village that has been deserted and now full on monkeys which are... More
