Between jellyfish, currents and kiteboarders, you don't want to swim here. The sand bit is fine and the beach stretches out quite some distance. If you like to do some horseback riding, then I suppose it'll be good for you.

Watch out for sand flies on hua hin beach, especially morning and evening. See photo! Have been before in previous years and no problem, so I expect it must be a seasonal thing. Otherwise nice beach.

It is mainly desserted due to the jellyfish warnings but it is definitely worth getting into the water as it is like having a bath - it's so warm. The sands are alive with crustaceans of all kinds and you will even get the odd...More

We read comments regarding this beach before travelling which made me a bit wary, but I should not have worried. Yes there is a bit of horse poo but not as much as other travellers led me to believe, it would s only to be...More

The sand is clean and the beach is generally well maintained. The water is not crystal clear but still clean enough to swim and enjoy. Nice to walk the whole beach as its super long

White sandy beach. Very neat and clean. No big waves so very good for kids. Nice place to relax and have a few beers with friends and family

Chiva Som Unfortunately a very poor reply from a manager that has no idea about hospitality or hotel management. When you see a 4 time customer spending as we just found out $53,000 dollars Australian in your resort in 7 days and they are upset...More

Because we always visit in the low season don't tend to see this beach with sparkling turquoise waters but it's a great place for a long walk to admire the beautiful hotels and homes that line it's shores, there's always plenty of activities, horse riding,...More

Hua Hin beach is really long with a lot of activities. Unfortunately it's not my favorite beach - the water doesn't have that turquoise color that you get on other places. Not suitable for snorkeling. There is a big difference of low and high tide....More

Hi Claire Depends what you are looking for. Personally I don't think Hua Hin is a very romantic place unless you stay in one of those expensive hotels at the water front. But if you are into water sports, exploring around... More
