Only a short walk from the Clock Tower (our main starting point in Hua Hin) we reached the station and it is a very cute one. We didn’t realise quite how busy it would be as it is still a working station with a train...More

Short walk from our hotel and nice to see the Royal waiting room...shame it wasn't open to see inside. Nice old fashioned station with a good cafe. Worth a visit.

OK it's just a railway station but historic information available and the old royal waiting room building is worth seeing. Also fascinating when a train comes in and you can see the various on-board facilities.

It's four hour ride from Huahin to Bangkok. The ticket was quite expensive because the train we got had aircon. I couldn't remember how we paid for the tickets. For the ordinary train, maybe less than 100 baht.
