We arrived and left within 15 minutes. The short version is, we arrived and on parking the car we immediately accosted by a man who said he wanted to be our guide and proceeded to tell us what we could do, all for a price of course. I eventually managed to get rid of him and proceeded to go and... More

took us to this place, but it wasn't a patch on The Elephant Training Center, Chiang Dao. Although my husband loved it & enjoyed feeding the elephants & posing with them. You can buy a bunch of bananas or a large basket, I think the bunch was 30 Baht & the basket was 100 Baht. There wasn't an entrance fee,... More

After long consideration we took a trip to the elephant village. The people there were helpfull and nice to the elephants. Along the way you can make a ride yourself, and your guide will ask you to buy handmade souvenirs. Still, fir western people it's harsh to see elephants on a chain. Or the baby's who need to perform tricks.... More

This elephant village is NOT what we expected. The ride was too expensive for a FAKE jungle ride. We felt so sad that they hit the elephant we were riding so hard so he moved the way they want him to moved. Never again we will ride on the elephant.

Went to visit the Elephant Village in a group during our stay in Hua Hin. The immediate impression we got was that this is all about the money. From the time you enter the grounds everything is money orientated. We were taken aback at how depressed looking the Elephants were. On the ride around the grounds the Elephants were shaking...
