I traveled this attraction which was included in my package tour. In the writer's opinion, it was grand but not so impressive to me.

Wat Huay Pla Kang is decorated in Lanna-Chinese style and is located on a mountain out of the town of Chiang Rai. It is a nine-storey golden pagoda. The whole architecture is colourful and glorious. A guided tour is recommended.

Hi, the elevator in the Shiva statue is open from 10am to 6pm. The Chinese temple next door a little longer. Entrance fee is 40 Bht for foreigners, locals pay half.
