Fantastic trip in the mountains. Completely change of scenery and climate. Cooler wind and beautiful mountains. We did it with children age 8 and 12. Both enjoyed.

The drive there is a little bit too long with young kids, and there is nothing really to do there, the monument on the top of the mountain was interesting.

Not much to see especially on a gloomy cloudy day. Some yunnan handicraft shops and shrines. Winding and steep roads driving there.

70 km far from town. I rented the motorbike and rode up there. There are the villagers who sell the local product like strawberry , tea and visit the General soldier musuem.

Stayed 1 night. Great view and setting. Lovely people. Great for chilling and walking around absorbing the local way of life and the surroundings. The people we encountered were all amazingly lovely, and spoke mandarin.

A good 1/2 day to spend in the company of flowers. Try the walk through the trees. Easy and fun. If you appreciate beautiful gardens a must
