I like to visit Doi Mae Salong every now and then. I always stay over at My Place. Doi Mae Salong is famous for it's tea. It is a quaint village that is well worth the trip.

We enjoyed the mountain scenery and fresh air. The Chinese culture added to the visit but strong hii tribe influence as well.

Most beautiful town of Northern Thailand that I have ever been too. I cannot express how gorgeous the serenity of this place is until you witness it with your own eyes.

We actually stayed up at the Akha Mud House just out of town and came here for the day. There was a lively market on Sunday and we thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We drove carefully up here. The road wasn't perfect. We had to drive slowly. Actually, not much to visit here. The mountain was plenty of tea plants. Not many big trees have left. There were many restaurants there. What we liked here was Yunnan food....More
