Every night at 9:00 P.M. on the main street concert music is played and the clock tower is awash with brilliantly colored lights. And the light is constantly changing.

Chiang Rai is very pretty itself but this clock towel and the evening light/music show makes it even prettier. The light show is just a few minutes thee times a day in the evenings but worth a visit. There is a nice thai food place...More

London has its Big Ben, Chiangrai has its own local classic timepiece reflecting its own local custom and heritage, its tradition enshrined in the local master piece

Nice little clock tower which looks far nicer in the evening. Do not travel to come see this unless in walking distance or route. It is nice but only a quick visit is necessary and not worth going out of your way.

When in Chiang Rai you will probably end up checking this out. It's pretty cool, only takes about 5 minutes, and there are plenty of restaurants around the intersection of you want to sit and eat or drink while watching the colour changes.

This was beautiful by day but by night it was all lit up and also the street around it. Very lovely to see, all the photos I took could not do it justice.
