Very nice place to visit and wander around the gardens, but a bit frustrating is the explanation how to get to view the full palace. We warned that if you want to look at the upstairs rooms you must buy an additional ticket at the main entrance, but no body tells you until you follow all the signs to get... More

We visit there in the quite hot and sunny afternoon but after you walk in there, the atmosphere just change...cool air from the trees the birds singing , fresh air from the sea we walk around and sit at the bench next to the beach, if we have more time will sleep there the whole afternoon , the beach there... Quiet peaceful summery home of the king who wanted a baby. Tinged with sadness the lovely locale speaks of past happiness and sorrow.

What a truly beautiful and tranquil place the palace is. So peaceful and respectful and in such a stunning beachside location. It's being restored tasteful and without too much distruption to the ambience. We didn't have time to visit the second floor but we will return on our next visit. As usual in Thai royal palace and also temples be... More

Love this place for walk but if it's too hot you can not stay outside for along time. And open hours are so short! From 9 till 16 or so... the hottest time... yes there are many trees and shadow but still too hot.

30 bath entrance fee & 30 baht to the 1st floor. Respect dress code. There are guests limit to the first floor, time to entry print at the ticket when you bought the ticket. Structure during renovation, vertain part prohibat to entry.

We visited here during our trip to Hua Hin. The site is under renovation, so we weren't allowed on the 2nd floor. Advice: wear dark colored clothing and pants. I had on shorts and have to borrow a skirt prior to entering. Nice piece of history. For just a walk through on a nice day. Good views of the water.

Touring this palace was very relaxing. There was no rush by any employees to get you through the palace. You can go through at your leisure, but the upstairs in all the buildings was off limits during the restoration. Very nice views overlooking the ocean. Make sure to wear shorts that come to your knees or jeans (for men) and... More
