Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just arrived at the entrance of Arusha Declaration Museum. No visitors except our group. Big variations in the ticket fees for Residents and Non Residents plus an extra fee for video shooting.
Simply decided to skip this place.
Torch Tower is opposite the museum, so you can take a photo. Very short visit

I probably knew more about Tanzanian history than most Americans, which wasn't much; certainly I had never heard of the Arusha Declaration. I learned a lot at the museum, which has an extensive collection of photos and documents. Definitely worth a couple hours and the very modest entrance fee.

This small museum shows only a few things about Tanzania's pride as a country. It is quite succint, we are surprised that Tanzanians do not have more to tell. However, it is a nice visit.

The Arusha Declaration Museum displays documents on the colonial history of Tanzania, the fight for independence and it is where the first Tanzanian president Julius Nyerere outlined his political vision. It is located in Kaloleni Road - Arusha, opened in 1977.
