We returned from an amazing 5-day safari trip with Amani. The trip was scheduled and canceled twice due to the corona virus, but throughout the period Amani showed understanding and reliability, provided all the details and explanations and helped in all he could until the trip was realized this year. Amani is a super professional guide, with extensive knowledge and a lot of patience. He spared no effort to show us all the animals we wanted, provided pampering lodges (the highlight was the pampering tents inside the reserves. There's nothing like waking up in the wild). We must also mention Frankie our driver who was always there with a smile to help with anything. Our safari trip was perfect thanks to Amani and Frankie. It was worth waiting three years. highly recommend!

We (2 parents and 2 boys at ages 17, 12) took
a 9 days safari tour on 23.9-1.10.22 with Peacemakers.
We initially selected Amani (the owner) since he was highly recommended by closed friends who toured with him on 2017 and based also on other recommendations we read about him.
Amani was very helpful and cooperative during the process of the planning the tour and sent few options and after about 4 iterations and few talks that he explained to us thoroughly some considerations, the final plan was set and was tailored to our needs, requests and budget (and based on some checks with other guides, the price was really fair).
Since he himself could not be our guide (he was already obligated to other family), Amani recommended that our guide will be Raphael who works with him.
The tour was amazing in all aspects - everything was well managed and organised, the Safari views and tribe tours where great and above all, Raphael was an amazing guide - he is able to see animals in a long distance while driving, a real good man with great personality, great sense of humour, wide knowledge and great attitude including with the kids. It was a real fun to travel with him so many hours.
Basically, everything went as planned and when there where some issues to solve, they were solve peacefully.
We highly recommended Amani and his company and of course we were blessed to have Raphael.

Our family took a safari tour for 6 days, with Peacemakers Expedition & Safari on Sep-Oct 2022. Our guide was Ray. Everything was perfect. Amani, the owner of the company, and Ray took care of everything we need. We started at Tarangiri and than Serengti North and Central and ended with Ngorongoro and the tribes. We saw all kinds of animals that are in the park. Betwin all the great views, we saw a dramatic crossing of the Mara river by a big group of wildbeast, wild crocodiles are waiting for them, and a hunt by a lion, just neer us (she didnt sucseed). The hotels and the camps were great specially Kubokubo lodg. Everything was organised terrific and you can see that this company know what to do. Our guid, Ray, was incredible. He took very good care of us and solve any problem that we had. He drived carfully and safe all over the parks and outside the parks. He didn't miss any action and any animal around our area.
If you are looking for an amazing adventure and expirience we highly recommended to use Amani and Ray from Peacemakers Expedition & Safari.

We spent fantastic 7 days of Safari with Amani Makoka.
Amani was very knowledgeable, provided detailed answers to our many questions, he is polite, excellent driver and was highly motivated to show us the best of the Tanzania wildlife.
We would strongly recommend Amani to anyone seeking a high level Safari.

We had 8 days trip to the safari. I cannot even tell in words the experience we had. Amani made our trip to the best that I would ever imagine. No doubts, he is the best guid in Tanzania. So nice, kind, tells the best stories and explains so good about the animals. He loves his job and you can see it, we learned a lot from him, I truly recommend to take him if you want to have a perfect and indescribable trip. We love you Amani ❤️

We had a safari trip for 6 days with Amani in april 2019. He is a very friendly person, honest, trustworthy and with a lot of knowledge about animals and in general (he has a university degree of wildlife and 14 years experience).
Before the trip he answered all of our requests regarding the package and the price and gave us a very fair offer (the cheapest out of all the guides we checked).
We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, visited the masai, Datooga, and Hazabe tribes (which was amazing).
Amani drove all over to find the animals we wanted to see and we were very pleased (even got to see cheetahs eating a gazele they just caught).
The lodges were above our expectations, and we also did 2 night at Serengeti campsite to lower the price which was a very special experience. At the campsite we had a private chef which cooked very tasty local food.
During our trip, we became friends with Amani and he told us about his life and family and about what life is like in Tanzania and Africa in general. We really learned a lot.
After our trip ended and we went to Zanzibar Amani made sure we were safe, helped us find low prices Taxi and attraction and also warned us when there was a storm to not go to the sea.
If you're looking for an honest guide with great personality we highly recommend Amani.

I returned this week from five days of safari with the guide Amani Akoka, manager of PaceMakers Expedition. One of the most amazing experiences and I experienced quite a bit.

Amani is a very reliable, smiling, knowledgeable and extensive guide with years of experience in guiding safari, enabling him to reach the right places and identify the behavior of different animals in order to locate them. With his great knowledge he greatly enriches the experience. He was very attentive to my needs and adapted the safari to my wishes. He tried very hard and gave me a very close and intimate experience with the animal world in the Ngorongoro reserve and the crater, in Serengeti and in Tarnegiri. Each of them was different then the other, and the mix he had prepared in the program was accurate and successful. The selected accommodations and the meals provided were of a sufficient standard and there was a wide range of options that he offered according to the budget. He and Walter the driver who accompanied my journey were very nice and contributed their experience and effort to a special experience.

Highly recommend this company and especially Amani as an honest, professional, reliable and very caring guide.

Next time when I return with my family, I have no doubt who will be my guide again.

warmly recommended

We travelled as a family of 7 people with Amani , for 8 days, through northen and central Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, lake Manyara and Tarangiri national parks and had the time of our lives.

Amani made our whole experience a lot more enriching and interesting, telling us a lot about the tanzanian culture, wildlife and plants. He replied with patience and great knowledge to all of our questions.

Thanks to his great understanding of the nature, connection with many other local guides and driving skills, we saw a loooot of animals, and had a problem free trip.

Among our sightings, were the big 5 (Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos, Lions and Leopards), Cheetahs, and the breathtaking crossing of the Mara river, of the migrating Ganu herds.

We planned the trip together with him, and he booked and took care of everything during the trip. The tented camps and hotels we stayed at were great, and the food was always excellent.

But most of all, what made our trip so special, was Amani's love of nature and of his job, and his easy going, friendly, warm and interesting personality.
It was very important to him that we'll see everything there is to see, feel comfortable and have a great time.

We found Amani online and were impressed from his recommendations, and we highly recommend him!
We had a trip that went far beyond our expectations, and made a great friend!
