Due to construction works the new part of the station looks very new and modern while the front looks dated and old. A huge area and maybe because of construction works me and my friend were having trouble finding each other.

In the midst of transforming the old station to the new station. Have to walk from the old station to the new one; there is no other path connected to the main roads therefore public transportation to and from the new stations still inconvenient.
The old Taichung station is just go out of service early this year. You can see the architecture of the old station from Japan occupied time. New station is just behind the old one. Easy to find and get to.
