Easy to navigate and able to use Taipei EasiCard now. Previously had to buy a separate KMRT card. Now my Taipei EasiCard can also be used. Previous KMRT card can continue to be used too.

The Kaohsiung subway is relatively new and currently has two lines (red and orange). All stations are numbered so it is easy to navigate from one place to another. The two lines cross over (forming an X like formation) so you can change from one...More

The no eating rule on all buses and subways in Taiwan, means a very clean environment for everyone. This system has stations that connect to bus lines going out to major sites such as the huge Buddhist complex, which I recommend highly.
