We visited as a day trip from Hualien with one of the tour companies. They took us to most of the major sites. The views inside the park are magnificent. We were lucky as we visited on a sunny and clear day.

The gorge is amazing. The park is well organized, with inexpensive bus connections through the park, stopping at most of the trails and scenic sites.
