This is a old Dutch architectural building in a state of decay.Not maintained properly. You can have look from outside and take a photo. I was not allowed in.

Located right at the big courtyard just follow the signs to get to this place. The gardener showed us around and gave us some of the history behind. Best part is the great view of Galle harbor.

This place has historical background and lots of stories, without knowing its background its useless trip. expect old wales and prison, and good view of Galle port and rumaswala mountain. before you visit I suggest vist archaeological office and museum, also National Maritime Museum few...More

very nice place. need special permission to enter. old dutch jails available. this was the first fort that built by Portuguese.

This was well worth a visit , this is were all the Sir Lanka's watch cricket from as you over look the ground, we saw some big lizards here as well.

The last vestige of the Portuguese settlement is tiny so make sure you get a map of Galle Fort to appreciate it and everything the Fort has to offer - so many nooks and crannies to explore. The Gallery at Fort Printers or the Serendipity...More
