This is the place where once the 9-story tower of Gyeongju stood. On the inside the museum is smaller than you would expect from the outside, but what they are exposing is interesting and worthwhile. Staff is super friendly!

This was once the largest Buddhist temple in Korea, complete with a nine-story tower. Unfortunately thr Mongols burnt it down and there's nothing left but a few stones. There is a museum (that costs ₩3000) that has a 1/10 scale replica of the tower and...More

You should learn about the history of this temple site before you go there. Then, you can feel various things there.... Sometimes this place makes my cry
