I reccomend you to visit here at night though there's a long line. Can't say no more this night view is awesome. It's faster to enter here using credit card than cash. Don't forget to stamp it on the travelers' booklet outside of Anapji. It's...More
It's a gorgeous area to walk around especially at night. We had a great time walking the field of flowers and then seeing the buildings lit at night reflecting into the pond. It was super crowded in Aug especially at night so if you want...More
No amount of sageuk watching could have prepared me for this magnificent view at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond in Gyeongju! This place is seriously breathtaking after dark. We did the audio tour, which was very informative.

Visited after sunset, very busy with local people. Pedestrian flow seems to be clockwise, ie, view from the reconstructed buildings first, then walk around the garden area.
W2000 entry, last admittance 21h30
Visit in the evening to capture the beautifully illuminated buildings and compound, and also the reflection on the pond. Unfortunately, one of the buildings was under restoration during our visit in mid Nov-16. The view might not be spectacular during the day time. There is...More
