Quite long caves, but we do enjoy walking through it until the end of the caves. It was cold inside, feels like we are walking inside a room with air-conditioner. Lols. My friend do enjoy reading all those facts and information on the formations, and I find it quites helpful for those who are interested in geology thing. Maybe. It... More

Manjanggul is one of the 10 longest lava caves in the world and deserves a visit. It is exhilarating to see the different formations due to the lava flow. As almost everything in Korea there are plenty info and it is very well taken care of.

We were very excited to visit Manjanggul Cave, and it did not disappoint. It is quite a large cave, and if you walk slowly and look around at the cave carefully, you can see the changes of the lava formation colours and shapes. Make sure you walk the entire length to check out the lava tube, I mean - when... More

It felt spooky from the fog as it was really cold inside. Do bring a jacket if you visit this place. You could see firsthand how the lava affected the rock formations in this cave and it is interesting to watch for first-timers. The floor is quite uneven due to the natural rock formations so do be careful and wear... More

Place where you can consider one of the exercise from steps and all the way to the end to view the nature of Lava. You can learn about the Manjanggul Cave as there's information along the way. Cool weather as we went during the winter. Not sure if you go during any other season. Must come as you might not... More

A cave without much special or interesting views. May not be worth it if you have limited time on jeju.

Definitely worth a visit, even if you only have a few hours to spare. This attraction my husband and I completed in just over an hour, there is no audio guide but there are informative signs throughout the cave. You return to the start of the cave the same way you came in, so take your time reading the signs... More

If you are into rocks, earth and geology thing, then this place is for you. The visit costs you less than 5000won and would probably take you an hour to finish the entire route. Take your time to read all the usefull information and appreciate the wonders of nature

Manjanggul Cave is one of the top ten lava tubes to visit that was formed about 200,000-300,000 years ago. It is one of 7 Geomunoreum lava tubes of Jeju Island and located in the North East area. The visit can be done using either bus (another 30 mins or 2.7km walk to the entrance) or car. I'd suggest to rent... More
