Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If anything, go and see the building. Stunning architecture. Lot of activity going on. They have just started the free outdoor movies again post C-19 on a Wednesday evening. Check the schedule.

Exit 12 at the station of Centum City on metro line 2. Record breaking roof (size of) and wonderful architecture to admire. At night the roof is illuminated until 0300 and us well worth the effort of a return visit.

After visiting the Centum Shinsegae Store, we walked across the street to see the Busan Cinema Centre. It too also held a Guiness Book of World Records, similarly in the size category, for the largest cantlever roof.

The roof undulated and soared over us with its unique shape and provided some relief from the hot afternoon sun. The staircases and elevated walkways weaved around the building, which made for some cool photos of this unique building.

Many families were relaxing, playing or running around enjoying the cooler environs.

The unique architecture was fitting for the Busan Film Festival which was last held in October 2018. A huge statue, reminscent of Hollywood's Academy Awards, BIFF sign and red carpet entrance to the 23rd BIFF door were all reminders of this famous recurring event held here annually.

We will need to come back in the evening in a future visit as I heard that the building becomes illuminated.

We were looking at the review that states that the cinema is bigger than the usual cinema.

What we realised was we've entered a cinema with 2 additional rows. That's all though. Overall experience is good.

We visited not only to look at building itself but cinema as well. Movies are in original languages with Korean subtitles. Screen is pretty big and it was enjoyable. Building is really impressive. There also street screen and sittings. It's very colorful at night. Also pretty nice view on city from it. There is river nearby so if you like modern architecture and movies, visit it.

The Busan Cinema Centre is very colourful and artistic at night. The amazing structure is lit with various colourful moving patterns. It is located next to Centum City, hence after visiting Centum City (ie Shinsegae shops) it is worth a look.
